Namastay Kitchen was created to provide our community a place to gather and enjoy food that tastes amazing and is made with love. It’s a cozy place to hangout and share good food and good wine with friends and family.

We are happy to accommodate a wide-range of dietary preferences from gluten-free to vegan to Paleo to raw to “I eat it all!” Our menu features a selection of chef-created small plates, salads, sandwiches, burgers, flat breads and dinner entrees. We also serve a delicious brunch on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday)!

Our sushi is rolled fresh to order in-house by SushiGuru, which has been ranked #1 in Charlotte many times by Creative Loafing and Charlotte Magazine.

Meet

Our Head Chef

~

A native of Asheville, NC, Chef Stephen Armstrong has worked in the culinary industry for over fifteen years. He built his resume and cultivated his talent while working in some of Charlotte’s most accredited restaurants: The Pewter Rose, Roosters Wood Fired Kitchen and the Crepe Cellar to name a few. Polishing his technique with the guidance of other talented chefs, Chef Stephen was able to reach back to his roots by focusing on the dishes that he enjoyed as a child at his mother’s and grandmother’s tables.

Chef Stephen is a seasoned craftsman with extensive experience in the culinary arena that is committed to creating an experience of comfort with a modern and lively twist that is sure to please your palate.

Meet

Our General Manager

~

Dee Petersen comes to Namastay Kitchen with over 30 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. She previously served as general manager at Rooster’s Wood Fired Kitchen, Vin Master Wine Shop and Lumiere. Dee’s knowledge of the ins and outs of running a restaurant, customer service and wine are unmatched and we are lucky to have her! Be sure to say hello when you come in and she’ll most likely have you drinking her special sangria or famous Bloody Mary regardless of what time it is!
